Refreshing Hibiscus, Mint & Rose Iced Tea: Your Summer Escape"

🌿 Summer Herbal Tea Blend
A Ritual of Refreshment for Body, Heart & Spirit

All summer I’ve been sipping a refreshing blend of hibiscus, mint, and rose—a vibrant blend that cools me down, lifts my mood, and gently supports my body and spirit. I’ve meant to share it for weeks, and finally, here we are.

This tea blend has become my seasonal favorite!
I love sipping it while relaxing on the deck or even at my desk during the workday. The taste alone is reason enough—but knowing how these plants support me on multiple levels makes it feel all the more special.

If you’re curious to try it yourself, I’m including the recipe and herbal breakdown below.

Let me know how you like it, and tag me on social if you make your own batch—I’d love to see your herbal creations!

🌺 Hibiscus: The Heart Opener

Bold, tangy, and ruby-red, hibiscus brings a vibrant energy to any herbal blend.

  • Energetically, hibiscus is known to activate the heart chakra and spark sensuality, creativity, and joy.

  • Magically, it’s associated with love, passion, and attracting beauty—both inside and out.

  • Medicinally, hibiscus is rich in antioxidants and known for its cooling nature. It supports cardiovascular health and can gently lower blood pressure, making it ideal for hot weather.

🌿 Mint: The Uplifter

Bright, refreshing, and unmistakable, mint adds a clean, invigorating note to the blend.

  • Energetically, mint is clarifying and awakening. It supports mental clarity, movement, and energetic release—perfect when you're feeling sluggish or stuck.

  • Magically, mint is tied to prosperity, protection, and healing. It brings movement to stagnant energy and uplifts the spirit.

  • Medicinally, it soothes digestion, cools the body, and relieves tension, especially when we’re overheated or overwhelmed.

🌹 Rose: The Heart Soother

Soft and deeply fragrant, rose brings emotional depth and balance to this trio.

  • Energetically, rose opens the heart gently, inviting in love, compassion, and self-acceptance.

  • Magically, rose is a symbol of the divine feminine, intuition, and emotional healing. It creates a sense of ritual and sacredness in even the simplest moments.

  • Medicinally, rose has cooling, anti-inflammatory properties and can help ease emotional stress, especially when felt in the body.

Together, these herbs create a blend that is deeply nourishing—body, heart, and soul.
It’s more than just a drink; it’s a small ritual of care in the middle of a busy, sun-drenched day.

✨Summer Herbal Tea Recipe

For a small batch (about 2 cups), I use:

·         1 tablespoon dried hibiscus

·         1 teaspoon dried rose

·         1 teaspoon dried mint

To prepare:
Add herbs to a heat-proof jar or teapot and cover with just-boiled water. Steep for at least 10–15 minutes (longer if you like it stronger), then strain. Enjoy warm or let cool and refrigerate for a chilled summer tea. Once chilled, serve in your favorite beverage glass. I like to garnish with fresh mint or a lemon slice.

This blend is beautiful and satisfying all on its own—deeply floral, tangy, and minty with a touch of natural sweetness. But if you’d like to put a fun twist on a classic Arnold Palmer, try mixing your chilled herbal tea with lemonade for a refreshing Herbal Palmer. You can use a high-quality organic lemonade from the store, or make your own by combining fresh-squeezed lemon juice, a splash of maple syrup or honey, and cold water to taste. Stir it together with the tea over ice, and you’ve got a cooling summer drink that’s as revitalizing as it is delicious.

“With every sip, I receive nature’s loving support. I open my heart, cool my spirit, and allow joy to flow freely.”

Happy Sipping!
