Discover how a guided forest bathing walk offers space to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover your natural rhythm.
What if your walk in the woods became something more — a journey into stillness, presence, and connection?
A guided forest bathing walk offers space to slow down and truly listen to the living landscape around you. With gentle guidance and mindful invitations, you’re invited to experience nature not as a backdrop, but as a living partner in renewal and reflection.
Spending time outdoors on your own is wonderful — and something I wholeheartedly encourage. But a guided experience creates conditions for deeper connection: intentional pauses, sensory invitations, and the space to simply be.
What a Guide Offers:
Each guided walk is thoughtfully designed to support your experience through the senses, the body, and the heart.
Sensory Invitations
Gentle prompts to awaken your senses and draw you into a richer dialogue with the natural world — noticing textures, movement, scent, and sound in ways that often go unseen.
Nature Rituals
Simple, grounding practices that honor the rhythm of nature and the seasons — helping you reconnect to your own natural rhythm as well.
Guided Meditation & Reflection
Moments of quiet and mindful awareness that deepen presence and support inner stillness.
Group Energy & Shared Experience
There’s a quiet magic in being in nature with others who are also seeking calm and connection. Each person’s experience adds to the collective sense of grounding and renewal.
Safety & Structure
With a guide, you can let go of planning, timekeeping, or decision-making. You’re free to simply be — knowing that everything is gently held and supported.
A forest bathing walk with Root & Align typically lasts about 2 - 2 ½ hours.
We move slowly — not far, not fast — allowing time for:
Opening circle with gentle centering meditation (allowing the mind to settle and let go of distractions)
A series of sensory-based invitations
Periods of silence and reflection
A guided sit spot or meditation with option to journal
Closing circle to share reflections (sharing is always voluntary)
Each walk is guided by the landscape and the season. I often include seasonal reflections that invite you to connect with nature’s current rhythms — whether it’s spring’s awakening, summer’s vitality, autumn’s release, or winter’s quiet rest.
There’s no right or wrong way to experience the walk. You’re invited to come as you are — curious, open, and ready to receive whatever nature offers that day.

Weather

Our walks take place outdoors and generally in varying weather conditions: rain or shine. Please check the forecast, dress appropriately, and come prepared to be in nature.
If weather becomes severe or unsafe, we may need to adjust or shorten the session. If more than half of the experience is affected, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a credit for a future experience.

What to Bring
3
We recommend bringing a few essentials for your time outdoors.
Please come prepared with water, sun protection, and bug repellent as needed. Dress for the weather, and consider wearing layers for comfort. Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended for walking through natural terrain.
You may also want to bring a mat or trail seat for sitting, especially if the ground is damp.
Most importantly, bring an open mind and a willingness to slow down and connect with nature.
