The Art of Wintering
A free seasonal wellness presentation

Winter asks us to move more slowly, rest more deeply, and tend to ourselves with care. Still, many of us are used to pushing through this season rather than listening to it. The Art of Wintering is an invitation to pause, reconnect, and explore gentler ways of being during the colder months.

Join me, Kristin Hotchkiss, of Root & Align Wellness for a 90-minute evening of seasonal reflection, practical wisdom, and simple, supportive practices. This gathering offers space to breathe, settle, and learn how to work with winter rather than against it.

During the program, we’ll explore:

  • The natural rhythm and qualities of the winter season

  • The grounding support of mindful time outdoors

  • How restorative yoga encourages rest, nervous system balance, and renewal

  • A few familiar kitchen herbs that can offer warmth, comfort, and gentle care

This is a reflective, educational experience rather than a movement-based yoga class. No prior experience is needed.
